Baboon is a Brooklyn-based animation company that has assembled a top Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated writing team to write and develop animated projects for the leading film and TV clients both domestically and internationally.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Track several animated series pre- and post-production pipelines at once
• Cast and schedule pre- and post-talent on global series
• Outreach and interaction with global client base and pioneering new markets
• Provide support to the President of the company including meeting coordination, calendar management, scheduling and travel arrangements
• Manage day to day operations of the office, acting as the main contact for Baboon
• Working with Baboon's clients and team of writers to organize meetings, send contracts, coordinate creative deliverables, create and maintain trackers
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department, and oversee expense management for the President and general office- tracking pending costs and reconciling monthly statements
• Manage and update the company's website and social media
• Oversee the company's intern program, including recruitment, placement and training throughout the year
• General office management including filing and managing supply stocks
• Organize all of Baboon's social events
Successful candidate:
• Is highly organized, and has a strong attention to detail
• Is self-motivated, flexible, and patient
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Loves to teach others
• Is comfortable with multitasking - able to balance multiple projects and calendars, and think about overall goals and deadlines, as well as important details
• Is comfortable communicating with a range of people working on a production or project
• Experience in audio editing or editing is a plus
