Associate Web Content Manager, Amazon Games

We are looking for an Associate Web Content Manager to join us at Amazon Games. In this role, you will work closely with our internal creative team, our web technology team, and our cross-functional marketing team, reporting to the Web Content Manager, and supporting our growing portfolio of gaming product websites.

* The ability to effectively manage the content flow for our websites, both game product and Amazon Games brand, to ensure delivery in a timely manner with the highest quality
* Be a self-starter who is able to tackle problems within a team setting, or individually
* Ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple concurrent projects while being flexible to changing business and technical conditions
* Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as creative problem-solving skills
Key job responsibilities
* Coordinate with internal marketing, creative, and web development teams to collect and organize all website content including, but not limited to, editorial (news articles/blogs) and visual assets (site imagery/screenshots) for websites
* Evaluate and shape content to ensure it is relevant, accurate, and delivered to the highest quality for our external facing sites
* Own the implementation of content into the content management system for sites
* Manage the localization process for website content
* Occasional resizing and optimization of visual content for website usage
* Structure web content to ensure easy navigation and accessibility for users
* Exhibit strong written and verbal communication with peers and across multiple business teams, with an ability to forge partnerships at all levels
* Improve content quality, reporting, project management, and ongoing content management to drive greater business impact

Qualifications
- 5 years working on web content management as part of a large, cross-functional web team
- Proficiency and experience working within Web Content Management Systems
- Proficiency with Adobe analytics
- Working knowledge of website accessibility best practices
- Working knowledge of website user experience best practices
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally across various disciplines to ensure quality delivery of site content in a timely manner
- Ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple concurrent projects while being flexible to changing business and technical conditions
- Ability to lead content projects, facilitating discussions with stakeholders, making good trade-off decisions, and solving problems with autonomy
- Ability to partner and influence various team members and effectively manage workflow in a multi-tiered organization to deliver results successfully
- Ability to generate multiple ideas and inspire creative excellence in colleagues
